Content Makers: SEND US YOUR FUNNY SHORTS We distribute short comedy films and videos through our channels on iPhones, Sprint, Verizon, AT&T, Nokia, Motorola, and various partners throughout North America, Europe, Asia, Australia and South America. See the list on our Get FLM page. We need completed films, or at the very least, a series of scripts that you can produce with help from FLM that does not include financing. We can offer other things, like distribution, casting, crew, studio, etc., but at this point, not financing. If you’re still reading, then here’s the rest: Our brand is very specific. We go for “fun, funny phone films.” As little negativity and violence as possible. Lighthearted entertainment. As quoted in the front page article of Wireless News Daily: "We’re a production studio in Hollywood that creates one thing: Mobile/Internet comedy content. If you’re looking for a cooking show or extreme sports, you’ve come to the wrong place (Unless of course you want a show about a guy who can cook while doing an extreme sport. In fact, that’s not bad idea. Picture a guy kneading dough while bungee jumping!)." In short: We want short comedy series that can be linked to a sponsor, but if it’s really funny, send whatever you have and we’ll get creative. It’s a revenue share. We split the revenue 50-50 with the producers of content. In the US, the producers’ shares are divided up based on how many times shows are played. The revenue share is accumulated by how many people have subscribed (in a cable-like model) to the video viewing services of each mobile media device which is specific to each carrier. In short, if your show is played more, you get paid more. Overseas, customers pay to purchase (“download”) films, and you get 50% of what we get from that purchase. Length: SHORT. Under 3 minutes. If your content is over 3 minutes, it must be broken up into 2 to 3 minute segments or episodes. Can be as short as 30 seconds, just as long as it tells a story and makes us laugh. We do not take individual films, it must be a series with a minimum of 10 episodes, 13 would be better. Clearances: Filmmaker must own all the rights and have cleared any logos, music, etc. Submission format: DVD preferred. We will also look at web sites where the content is hosted.
